Somehow, this has to compete with the Bolts in a 7-game series

Description
Or the Bruins. The top end of the Atlantic is nuts.

I feel Pickard > McElhinney for the stretch. Curtis has been hot, but in a playoff series, I don't want him to be my fallback. His floppy 90s style of goaltending would cause traumatic heart failure to at least 33% of the Canadian population should Andersen go down. Pickard has at least recently had the mental weight of being a starter on his shoulders, which should make the adjustment to having to be thrust into playoff situations easier.

Way way overpaid
Yeah good luck with that Polak trade
Meh nothing trade.

If worse comes to worse in the playoffs, I don't think waivers are in effect so they can just call him up then send him down when Freddy is ready

As a Red Wings fan i like that return for Green/LGD, however logically, i think it is too much.

Yeah what the heck is this, for Green's rental and Glendening? TML get rid of Martin's dollars too, but damn!

How far off was I? The 2nd? I don't reckon Gauthier pans out to be much, and I don't think it'll be easy to get DET, who's already in cap hell, to eat Martin's salary without some form of conviction. With the way Dermott has progressed, is Borgman even needed on this team?

Personally, if i were GM, Bracco + 1st + 2nd + ill take Matt Martin's contract off your hands. Done deal.

You really think Green replacing Polak and Glendening replacing Moore is really going to make any difference in the Leaf fortunes. Just seems like lot of movement that hurts the futures.

Too much for liljegren. Bracco+2nd+2nd+Martin's contract for Green+Glendennig is fair.
