You obviously haven’t watched Lindblom play. Just because the points haven’t come yet doesn’t mean he hasn’t helped that line dominate play when they are on the ice.
The Habs need everything except for a goalie...
This argument doesn't work. I'm extremely high for Lehkonen with the Habs, watching the guy play you can see he's a beast. imo the Habs best defensive forward, and he drives possession offensively. and although he scored 18 goals as a rookie, it's obvious he's having a sophomore slump. as much as I'd like to say he's a legit top 6 forward, his 18 pts in 62 games says otherwise. So I can't just start included him in trades with the expectation that he's worth that of a true top 6 guy, it doesn't work that way. So I just wont trade him, because other teams probably don't see him as a top 6 or aren't willing to pay a hefty price to find out if he can be.
You're doing the same for Lindblom now, but you're trying to trade him with the expectation that he's already a top 6 guy. It doesn't work. Sure, he probably has the potential to be a top 6, but he might not, and 4 Pts in 19 games is not making me want to risk finding out.
and Habs absolutely do not need more young wingers...come on now, Drouin, Galchenyuk, Lehkonen, Hudon, Scherbak (althought he plays RW) are all left handed shooters playing the wing, not counting Vets like Pacioretty and Byron who also play LW. Sure let's make a deal and add another LW to the mix...
