Description
Talked a bunch of stuff* on giroux before the season but I’ll admin when I was wrong. He is the mvp you can make a case for a few others but without him philly isn’t in the playoffs. He finished 2nd in points that’s pretty impressive. Actually that’s what put him over the others imo and mcdavids team didn’t make playoffs and you can’t win the hart imo unless you are in a playoff team

Carlson for the Norris ..... he’s never won before and who can argue that he doesn’t deserve it?

And goalie imo it’s pekka but Vegas is a crazy story and flower showed everyone including me he’s not washed up

Vasy didn't have a very strong finish, and I think that will factor in. also I'd be picking Rinne regardless

For MVP...

Kopitar
Hall
MacKinnon
Giroux

Imo, of course

And i know you’re a Caps Fan, but Grubauer 3rd?
No freaking way
28 games started is an automatic disqualifier
U could even make a case that Fleury didn’t play enough games, but his numbers are excellent

Hellebuyck, Quick, Bobrovsky & Gibson...
Any of them 3rd-6th

Where's the respect for Mackinnon guys? He led his team from last to the playoffs in 1 year. Had 97 Points too. I go with MacKinnon!

Avs greatly underachieved last year. They are a great young team. He’s also 21 which is expected of him. Giroux did it at 30...... not disrespect giroux is mvp

Yeah i think this year is really hard to call on most of these trophies. Hart..... McKinnon, hall , giroux , kucherov, ovi, malkin, you can make an argument for all of them. I like hall, did the most with the least. Vez VASILEVSKIY is the man here but hellybuck and rinne and quick had great years. Norris id say is a toss up. Carlsson had a good year and klingberg hedman all good choices. Why not carlsson.

BRENT BURNS as #2! Tied with Klingberg for 2nd in points among D-men, and his team’s 3rd in the Pacific. Ik they had a bad start, but Burns and Pavelski really heated up in mid-season and the team came back strong.

Hate Philidelphia but if Giroux doesn't win then that's just stupid,
Each, in order, should be

Hart - Giroux (McKinnon, Malkin, Kucherov, Wheeler, Kopitar, Ovechkin, Hall)
Vezina - Pekka (Fleury, Vasy)
Norris - Hedman (Burns, Drew, Carlson, Ghost)
Stammer for Masterton
Calder - Brazal

I don’t think so at all
Giroux had A LOT more help than Kopitar (who is also a stud defensively) and Hall when it came to the team’s offense
Philly had 4 other 20+ goal scorers & 3 other guys over 65pts

Besides Kopitar in LA, they had no one over 61pts
In Jersey, the next closet to Hall had 53pts
MacKinnon did have Rantanen, but after that Landeskog only had 61pts

Sure,
Giroux had a few more points than these guys
But the situations they were in & that they had much less help carrying the load pushes them ahead of him imo
