Y wouldn’t Matthews ever be part of the future? If the Leafs go a different direction, Matthews would still b the last person Toronto trades.

I gave it 5 stars because I like the idea of him going home and I like the return they get.

Great trade for both sides I’d say. Just need to hope Tavares will actually want to sign there. Personally, I think he opts to sign with a team where he doesnt have such an enormous amount of pressure on him. I feel playing for the Leafs really just wears on players the way the media criticizes everything.

I've always liked the idea of Matthews in Arizona. Also as a Sens fan the Hainsey trade would be nice.
