montreal fans need to learn there players place. Pac's value fell because of injury. gallagher sure okay 30 goal scorer send him of the first line. still not worth kyrou. a 100 POINT SEASON. If you want to know why you guys aren't winning cups. Look at what you guys think is fair deals. why have you guys not won a cup since the 20th century. because you think Pac, Gallagher, Schezbak, and not even 4oa you gave a 2019 pick to keep the 4oa. for a 100 point producer, a 1st round pick for THIS year, a player who looks like a top 3 guy to come in thomas. a nhl ready 20+ goal scorer in thompson, a should have been TOP 10 PICK but no one wanted to risk it except Blues. and the funniest thing is you think its fair to give 4 in a way first round picks for that. if anyone doesnt know hockey its you guys. because you wont give what they are actually worth.
@Ragsandbluesfan @The_Real_FBGM_37 @MT_11 and more of these guys all agree with me I would not offer 4 first round picks for Pacioretty, Gallagher, scherzbak and not even the 4oa its the 2019 pick just so you can keep the 4oa to pick one of the top 5 guys. Anyone agree. I think that is the concept of what is lopsided. take your
f ucking players and go find someone else to cheese.
@BeastModeUnknown @The_Architect
This has gotten completely out of hand. Please do not act like you are two years old. This is very unprofessional and extremely stupid (there I said the word that architect was using in pig latin, aka 2 year old talk). Also, beastmodeunknown, please refrain from using spaces in between your swears, you are still swearing and that could be punishable. Both of you need to step back and stop arguing. Also, it was a mistake tagging me. Beastmodeunknown, this is also bad for our game. If people keep seeing you act this way, no one will join. As for criticizing architect over here, you should do it in a matter where it is constructive, not hurtful. As for architect, not everyone has the same opinions as you. Do not take this as an offense to you, no one is trying to personally attack you.
As for your FA Signings, you have overpayed everyone. If Thorton hits the market, he will not go to the Habs. Stasny is overpayed by about 2 million, Tavares by 3 million, and Green by 500 K- 1 million.
The STL trade: In favor of Montreal. You are telling us not to think about the future, but it is all we think about. New players are coming in every year. And they are getting better. Robert Thomas had 75 points in 49 games in Juniors (1.53 PPG), Tage Thompson had a ok year, but he was a rookie (AHL and NHL) and those 16 AHL games last season can be tough on an adjusting player straight out of college, Klim Kostin had a better year, but this also was is AHL rookie season, Jordan Kyrou had 109 points in 56 games (1.95 PPG) for Sarnia in Juniors, Sammy Blais had 40 points in 42 games in AHL, and 3 in 11 for NHL, if you assume STL takes Noel, he had 53 points in 62 games in Juniors. Nikita Scherbak had 30 points in 26 games in AHL, and 1/5 that in the same amount of games in the NHL. Sobotka had 31 points in 81 games, a pretty good season. Patches had 37 in 64, and Gallagher had 54 in 82, and Zadina is added to the mix. You may think MTL is losing the deal, but you overlook the kids.
The NSH trade: Pekka is better than Carey, hate to say it as a goalie myself (and a pretty darn good one too). Nashville has no need, Fabbro will be a great player, and Trenin and Carrier will be good. MTL wins deal.
The PHI trade: Petry is not worth that package. He is worth a 4th at best. Montreal wins this deal.
The BUF trade: MTL wins. They get rid of the injury-ridden bump-on-a-long defenseman and they get 2 great prospects and a 3rd. Originally, he could go for a 3rd, but injuries and a bad contract prevent that. Buffalo is trying to rebuild, not get older.
Buying out MacDonald: irrelevant because of PHI trade in MTL favour
Buying out Schlemko: Good move.
As for
@Subbanator7667 please refrain on one-upping beastmodeunknown.
Please act more maturely, responsibly and thanks for reading. Have a wonderful evening.
