I think Vancouver would want more than a 3rd line center and Bouwmeester considering what Hamonic got moved for. Yes, Calgary overpaid but they'll still want more

Maybe add in Walman, or Schmaltz?

I think they'll want a Walman plus picks. Berglund and Bouwmeester drop the conversation

I figured A swap for tanev and Jay Bow, and adding Berglund thats a solid 20 goal scorer, I was eondering if I would have to add a pick or a prospect.

Parayko is a great player but not one that would get Draisaitl in return, IMO.

Um yes he would, soild RHD, and edmonton is already stacked at that position they would abdouetley love parayko, and most traders just did tlstaright us one vs one swap, atleast I added a pick and a decent player that can develop in top 6

I'm not sure what you were trying to say, it came out a bit garbled. I agree that Edmonton would love to have Parayko, but not at the expence of Draisaitl. Draisaitl is too valuable a player, many teams would consider him their franchise center. Edmonton has no way to replace him - realistically - in the future.

Besides, Chiarelli has publically stated that he's looking for a really good powerplay defenseman, that's not Parayko. Parayko's skillset is similar to that of Adam Larsson and Darnell Nurse, so not a huge need on the roster.

what i was trying to say, Edmonton is stacked at center, and hey need to convert that into wings or defesemen. They have 3 solid centers that could be most likely 1a on a decent amount of rosters if not 1b. Well parayko is young and very promising, he has probably hardest shot in the game and can be deadly if he usues it more, and his size, I wish he would hit more, he a little too nice. I love parayko and last year or any other time you asked to trade him, he would be lights off. But since we are really lacking a 1a center or 1b center, I would do the trade, since we got defense depth as of right now. Parayko is young, RHD defensemen (hard to find) plus to get a trade from a team. He is really unique so Edminton would love him and you should admire him more. He is definitely not a duml player, we love him, we have so many other players we would want gone, but we absolutely need offseadon move and get some top 6 forwards and Parayko may cost us if we do so.

In all fairness the Blues haven't used Parayko much on the powerplay. He has the tools, needs to learns to shoot more, but he has a great outlet pass and tremendous shot.

Yeah, but I'm not interested in a big PP shot - it's going the way of the Dodo due to defenders blocking the lanes and goalies being able to cover that angle easily. We need a puck distributor in that position, not a Brent Burns / Shea Weber slapshot.
