I want to start off and say, congratulations on winning the cup. Obviously, as a Pens fan it hurts but I'm really happy to see Ovi win a cup. It is hard to admit, but you guys were the better team this year. When Evgeni Kuznetsov scored the series winner in OT, I was sad that the threepeat was over, but I felt weird as it didn't feel unright. What I want to say is, enjoy the moment. Don't rub it in to anyone's faces. Don't waste time on what other team's fans think. Enjoy this moment and make it last. Hopefully this rivalry continues to be amazing and fun. Congrats and see you next year, Caps!

Here Here! I'm a Blackhawks fan and 100% agree with these sentiments. It was an incredible series to watch. I didn't have a horse in the race, but it felt like I had two horses in the race. Great Hockey! Couldn't be happier for you guys!

Kings Fan here. Enjoy Caps! As a fan that waited forty plus years for our first cup, I know the happiness you are feeling. The off season will be quick and over before you know it, so relish it.

@Riddler thanks! I've been saying for years the Caps could win a cup if the Flyers or Rangers got lucky and beat Pittsburgh. It means more, for having to get through the best.

Wilson got 100 hits in the playoffs. A couple of them hurt people and that's unacceptable. The other 98 were, collectively, a big part of this victory. Washington had four of the five leaders in hits through the playoffs, and 4 of the 5 top forwards in hits. Pittsburgh almost convinced the Caps to give up physical play as a part of their team identity a couple years ago, by being just so darn fast and talented. I think the league is back in balance now.
