Hard No from Pit. Sprong has way too much value especially if Kessel gets traded. And they don't need to cap dumps of Staal and Foligno who are too slow and can not help the defensive problems the Pens have.

Both Sprong and Rust for a Cap Dump of Sheary.... GMJR Would never make that deal, Sprong is going to be on Sids wing next year. We already have Brassard, Geno and Sid down the middle with Sheahan behind them who is an RFA. To even consider this trade you would also need to take on Hunwick and probably throw in a first rounder to be totally honest.

Don't think Brodin nets that big of a return. Think Canes are pretty high on Teuvo, so don't think they would add pieces on top of that.

Erik Staal is the first 42 goal 76 point cap dump I have ever heard of. Your no is understandable but you can't possibly think Staal is a scrub.

As a fan of Pitt and Carolina this is a hard no from both

Carolina is looking to move a D-man for a forward not the other way around (we have young D prospects looking for ice)

the last thing Pittsburgh needs is more cap for less players, and Pitts is looking to improve the D not the offense

you'd be more likely to succeed sending Brodin to Pitt and Staal back to Car

but as you have it now it makes no sense for either teams needs

Canes would never go for that deal. They're high on TT and Zykov and Mckeowan is a decent prospect who could fill in to the bottom pair of needed.
