O'Reilly would be nice to have defensively, but Id rather have Phil. More explosive on offensive and is cheaper

Agree completely. I’m much the same. I’d much rather keep Phil.

o'rielly is nice but he's just a "poor mans" Sidney Crosby. they are both excellent defensively but O'Rielly just doesn't have that offense that Sid and Geno have down the middle. he is more reliable defensively than Phil but again doesn't have the scoring touch

Five stars for trading O'Reilly
The salary difference is only $700,000 and Hunwick is included.
But I would love to have Kessel and O'Reilly "Lost that loving feeling", I love trading for players who have championship rings.

Why would the Pens do that trade? Horrible deal for the Pens.
