I don’t mind the deal at all! Reinhart would easily be your team’s best RW in this scenario idk why he’s buried in your 3rd line

Trying to get 3 even lines going... i see his game fitting flawlessly w Kevin Hayes as a 3rd line shut down line w 50 point capability. But yes talent wise he'd be closer to a 2RW

Names would in my eyes fit the bill for sabres team fit (Skilled, quick, offensive) and Reinhart fits the bill for rangers (Bigger, High IQ, Rounded-game) and i'm willing to wait till draft day and see what falls at 9 ...If my targets (Kotkaniemi, BK, Wahlstrom) arent there then id pull the trigger and try and trade the 2 picks in the 20's to move into the low teens

Since Nichuskin just re-signed, that Zuccarello deal isn't happening. Making a move for Reinhart is fine; but as a Rangers fan, this deal can be expanded upon. The Sabres are not as strong on left wing and defense, as well as in goal.

I think if you're gonna suggest a move, a trade for Reinhart should likely include O'Reilly. Offering Namestnikov is a start.. I would add Spooner, likely Zuccarello and Beleskey (to offset some of the contracts), and Gilmour (because I have a feeling he's gonna get caught in a roster crunch).

Too many Sabres fans in here, not enough Rangers voices

Not #9 overall, but #28 overall; I include #40 (NYR) and ask for 2019 1st (BUF).

      And add Smith and Gilmour.

For 28, it's not very interesting. We give two best strikers, except Jack, of course. Vladi, and a one-year lease Zuccarello and 28? No thanks. 9 peak is of great importance in such a deal, 1-10 a lot of cool players, then there are less interesting guys.

Since O'Reilly has requested a trade, his value, though high, can be matched by Zuccarello. Adding Smith on defense, gives your defense a player who can help your team compete over the next three seasons while your rebuild continues. If anything, Zuccarello is a chip for more prospects/picks in a future deal.

Namestnikov becomes a long-term piece to add to Eichel. There's enough great young players in the first 60-90 picks to prepare to have an impactful draft after Dahlin.

Another thing is, if Botteril wants a team to take the whole contract (5 @ $7.5m), and uphold a trade request, Zuccarello and Namestnikov is actually an overpayment; I already dropped Beleskey from this deal: I added two defensemen in Smith and Gilmour because of Buffalo's need.

Lastly, taking #9 from us hurts the Rangers' own rebuild. Do they forfeit the future while taking away the malcontents from Buffalo's locker room?

You have erroneous information, no one asked exchange and problems in the locker room there is no.
ROR is worth more than a one-year lease Zuccarello

      I refuse to argue.

If you don't like the proposal, that's fine. But, the guy did make a trade request. Both McKenzie and Friedman reported it twice.

If anything, Buffalo isn't stuck with numerous cap hits and trending towards cap problems, in the proposal I have floated.
