Yeah Detroit's not trading down 5 spots and getting scraps on top of t. We'll keep the #6 pick over the #11 pick.

It's better than what MB is thinking, but I still would hate for this to happen. I don't want MTL to become the new Arizona, I'd rather us barely miss the playoffs for the next 2 years.

Yep one of Dobson/Bouchard or Hughes is what the Wings will target.

I believe he's our first choice, Then one of either Dobson or Hughes if Bouchards off the boards.

Chicago wouldn't do that. Hossa contract with the 2019 2nd round pick should be enough to trade the contract. So the 8th overall pick in 2018 for 1 year of pax? Don't think so.

I actually thought the Chicago trade was the best of the 3....maybe that 2nd rounder is contingent on Max re-signing.

The wings one is tough to evaluate...totally depends on if the guy the Wings like best will be available a few spots later

Islanders one seems too lopsided towards MTL but I'll leave that for their fans to comment on

trading blue chip assets for 1st rounders is not a great way to go with price and weber locked up.. if you want to do that then trade Weber and not petry but get alot for him
