What the heck.

Ok, I'll play - Boston will trade you krejci and Halak for matthews. Krejci is better defensively and at faceoffs. Now that you have traded a #4 dman and a backup for a top 5 NHL dman, you need some backup goaltending help.

FYI - Alex is better at everything in comparison to Gardiner.

As much as I usually seem to disagree with @theturnaround I must admit he's correct here. This is as one sided a trade as you can get. Let me say that I don't think Gardiner is a bad defenceman, you don't score 50 points in the NHL if you are a terrible defenceman. The kid can play.

However he is flawed and that is why some give him a hard time.

With that said, Pietrangelo is one of the top defencemen in the league. Gardiner is not.

I’m going to tell you this. Armstrong won’t take you seriously ever again. Lmfao. Pietrangelo was 9th in the fukkin running for Norris. Gardiner not as good and we certainly don’t want an old ass hack of a Goalie. Put Nylander in the deal and just maybe he will take you serious again. Learn Hockey first tho.
