Trade with NYR

Created by: graderman
Team: 2018-19 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 31, 2018
Published: Jul. 31, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Although KHayes spurned the Hawks by not signing with his draft team, could he allow it to work now? IMO, he would be an upgrade to Anisimov and could be re-signed (along with the beloved Schmaltz, of course!). Best scenario, KH and NS could share center duties on the second line with Kane at RW. Overall, as far as the lines and the pairings, Hawks fans know the blender is always plugged in so don’t focus too much on them. The Rangers could slot AA with another countryman and hope it works to some degree like it did with Panarin.

**** Kevin Hayes. He can keep pooping in stairwells and not winning cups with the team he left somewhere else.

Haha, I didn't even see that it was you who posted it... I just saw Kevin Hayes and felt an immediate need to troll his stairwell activities. **** I hate that guy...

I haven’t published a team in quite a long time. Most (All?) of them would wind up not improving the Hawks but I gave it a shot.

At least you've done it. I just sit here and ***** about what everyone else armchairs, and make zero effort to build my own. Mostly because I'm indecisive and cranky when @Stan_Bowman has cap space to use and is doing fuckall with it.

I didn't see one thing in there that was worth Seguin, in my eyes... He could've made that whole insanity better by trading Seguin the Hawks for the ghost of Nick Leddy and Graham Knott's jock.

@JackBurton beat me to it, but I’ll go ahead and say **** Hayes. Hope he never wins anything in his life.

You’re gonna have to add something else. We’re not downgrading for no reason/without incentive

"Hayes is an upgrade from Anisimov, so the Rangers would definitely trade them 1 for 1." What? That makes no sense. Think about this from the Rangers perspective. Team actively and publicly in a rebuild, trades away a 2C in his prime for a 2C on the wrong side of 30? Why? You are going to have to actually make this worthwhile for the Rangers too.

Won't even comment on how welcome KH would be in Chicago...probably about as welcome as his brother in Boston.

You openly said he's an upgrade over AA. Where is the incentive for the Rangers?

I am not even sure the Rangers would have much interest in AA beyond being a spare part/insurance. And I am pretty sure any contending team in the hunt for a 2/3c would beat this offer for Hayes rather easily.

To the recent replies, thank you! I just came up with this scenario after the two parties could only agree on a 1 year extension. Maybe there is some rift and a longer term deal is not in the picture. As far as Anisimov in a one on one trade, perhaps I really should have added a 2nd or 3rd rounder. In my explanation I suggested AA also may have some chemistry with Namestikov(?), his fellow Russian. Again, I always appreciate responses.
