Description

Ottawa need to reset their roster and rebuild their team. It's pretty obvious that their core players don't want to be part of that. So, I tried to get as many assets as possible trading them.

It's not easy to rebuild, but I think my decisions are probably better than Dorion's. I know that's not a big deal. Anyway...

you could probably Package Ryan's contract to MTL if you flip Lemieux in the trade if you take one of their over payed players like a 5th rd pick and Alzner who leads shotblockers and games played most years
or
Shaw another RW.straight up .

If Lemieux is 1/3rd the player his dad was for us this deal will pay off in merch sales if nothing else like Audette jersey's in Laval do .
Ryan can fill the void at 3rd RW Shaw leaves as a mentor during the rebuild years until his contract expires .

AWFUL trade for Preds. Tolvanen has the potential to be better than Stone in 2 years...

Roslovic not going anywhere you would have to add a moose or possibly Dano and or Petan in his place, and not sure on Myers going anywhere TIL Trouba decision made and that can’t happen TIL Jan so this would have to be a trade deadline type blockbuster and by then jets wouldn’t want to mess to much chemistry and just add a rental gun

Stopped reading after the first trade.

Nylander + Liljegren + 2019 1st + 2020 1st .... for Karlsson at $11,000,0000.

Delusions.

He's not worth Nylander (who is 6 years younger, still has upside and will cost $6,000,000 less for the next 8 years).

The leafs will sign Mark Stone as a UFA next summer though .... remember that.

I could remove one of the 1st in this trade. Maybe. But nothing more than this. Why? Cause Stone has great seasons playing for a terrible offensive team. Tolvanen is a very good prospect indeed. But, unless your name is Crosby, Ovechkin or McDavid, you have no guarantees about a prospect.
