    Guentzel? Not that it’s fair but Dallas loves him and that’s the kind of offer it would take.

    He’s a really great defensive player, and an ideal 3C that can play against anyone.

    Not really a good trade partner there, Dallas is going for it and picks and prospects arnt going to cut it

    Since when is a top 6 forward worth a 3C?

    Since Dallas is going to want that....

    I mean look at what I wrote, it’s not fair but Rust+ isn’t cutting it for a 3C. Pens have no other piece worth the prIce. It just doesn’t fit as a trade.

    I’m a pens fan so, I recommend posting this as a Dallas team and seeing what I mean, they love him.

    Right it's not about what is perceived as market value or what a 'fair' offer is, Janmark is just a fan favorite and is really important to the team.
    He can get labeled as a 3rd line center but he's a really good all around player and can play up and down the lineup.
    I'm sure just like fans of all teams who overvalue their players DAL fans overvalue Janmark, but it's not like he's a scrap who's worth worth a 3rd round pick

    I haven't really been on the site in a while, but I know you said you saw DAL fans have been trading him, but was that involved in deals for Karlsson or other studs? In those situations I can see them trading him just for the sake of adding a superstar, but otherwise I'm kind of surprised they would be so quick to trade him haha

    Guentzel? I laughed like a school girl on that one. You want Guentzel for Janmark then Shore or Faska are in the deal as well. (not 2-for-1 but in the overall deal)

    I could see a final deal being in the Janmark/Rust area. But complete lack of physicality, faceoff hands of stone, only 34 points even with a lot of ice time... My offers start at Hagelin.
