Description

Donato and Puljujarvi are both skilled, high ceiling players that are struggling. Donato is a natural center, but is currently suited for a top six left wing role (he had 9 points in 12 games last season playing top six left wing). He absolutely can't play on his off wing, and that's the only slot where there is a top six role available in boston. Both Donato and Johanssen are Chiarelli draft picks, so he might have a thing for them. What do edmonton fans think? Is Puljujarvi's ceiling still just too high for you guys to be on board with trading him?

Just can't see Boston moving Donato. The kid basically grew up in the Bruins locker room, played locally at Harvard and left school early to join the team.

Does it though? Pool Party just hit the 100 game mark and is a .29 P/GP player whose 4th among EDM RW in TOI per game. Its not like EDM is a loaded team with talent either, so why is he getting so little playing time? Donato is in his rookie year with a higher P/GP for his career.

I don't think the Bruins would trade Donato if he can eventually play center at the NHL level which you imply by calling him a natural center. I'm not sure he can stick there at any point, but if he can he'd be more valuable than an equivalent RWer. They both have a lot of skill, but I'd keep the center while knowing guys like Frederic, Studnicka and JFK aren't guaranteed NHLer's yet.

Of course they care, how do you think other college specs that we have (future and present) would take to that? And who have they done it to before?

Wish I could you less stars b Carlo, but one will suffice. Donato is way better.. if you trade him, it should be for a proven second line RW.

Donato has been trash this year. Absolute trash. If he keeps this up, he'll be in providence very soon.
0 even strength points, and 12 minutes a night because he's been trash

Yeah. Great move by the B's. He's only played twenty five games. The AHL move will give him some confidence. Not a bad move.

I'm just making a point. You barely make ACGM teams yet you go around a comment on peoples post acting like you know everything when you really don't know much at all. You definitely don't have anything to back up what you say...
