While I cannot vouch for the trade value wise, I like the idea for cap reasons.

But what are they going to do with Lucic? Longer and worse contract than Alzner and we already have a surplus of LWs.

Both Lucic and alzner don't fit today s nhl. Faster, younger puck movers. If it's a salary dump I'd keep alzner because of the shorter term lower cost. Edm needs to add a 2nd or more to make that trade mAke any sense.
Also I don't see why all the hype with puljaarvi?
Hasn't done much on a team starving for secondary scoring like the oilers
