Description

Winnipeg seems to be approaching cap hell. Laine and Connor seem to be heading for hefty paydays. Trouba needs an extension next year also. Morissey in 2 yrs. With Vasilainen in the near horizon. Decisions have to be made.

I think you're mixing up Ehlers with Eller, the guy you guys moved to the Caps.

wpg wont be in cap hell. they've organized themselves really well. they'll be tight against the cap, but they'll be able to keep everyone. and that trade is just horrendous. ehlers will cost you Drouin

Hes had back to back 60 point seasons. They aren't going to get rid of him after 20 games into one season that hes not near .75 points ppg currently. Come on use some common sense on that one

the same logic applies to Tatar, 20 games of him being good vs 20 Games of Ehlers being below his career averages...you arent snapping to judgement here.
Age of Tatar vs Ehlers...track records, pedigrees....You arent going to get him for a 27 year old (28 soon) Tatar and a draft pick on a hot streak for a core building block player

Jets have other ways to open up a little more cap space if they need it

Na. They can't afford his contract. The assumption is they need to shed salary. So the question is what do the Habs have, that WIN would want, that doesn't require much cap coming back to WIN?

wpg isn't worried about shedding cap. myers is a FA. the only guys they gotta worry about are trouba and laine, both of whom they can keep, cause they dont have dumb contracts on thier roster.
