Even after looking at the stats it's still not enough for Stone. Both are unproven in the NHL, but if you add a 1st it would make this trade a little more interesting.

Thats a drastic overpyament, You're then looking at Chlapik coming back the other way, Kuokkanen and Bean both have NHL experience, both have been AMAZING in every league they're ever played in, this is more then fair

Bean: 1 NHL game
Kuokkanen: 4 NHL games

I'd hardly call that experience haha. Stone is a bonafide point per game player and you're going to have to pay big to get a player of his caliber, especially because he is only 26 y/o and is in the prime of his career.

For a guy walking into free agency?? Your nuts.... Two ELITE propsects and a pick is an overpayment as is

DAL absolutely declines. Now that Klingberg's injured, Lindell have been our leading defensemen, and he has been absolutely solid.

Also change that 3rd round pick to a first rounder in that OTT trade, and they might start considering it.

You're living in a fantasy land. First, why would even think about trading for Stone if he is not going to agree to an extension in the first place? It's not like the Canes are a cup contender this year. Secondly, they're not two ELITE prospects. Heres a link to Cory Pronman of The Athletics Top 100 Prospects https://theathletic.com/508797/2018/09/12/pronman-top-100-nhl-prospects-entering-the-2018-19-season/ , Neither are in the top 50 and Bean didn't even get an honorable mention. So much for the ELITE status of these two prospects. Come back when you know your ****.

Leafs pay more for TVR than the Canes pay for Lindell and Muzzin.

Good moves. Yes, you have to add a bit to get them done, but good ideas. If you can add enough defensive depth that, even when healthy, Pesce and Fleury are fighting for roster spots, trade them for Nylander. Hurry, though, or he might not play this year.

Yeah Ottawa declines that pretty quick to be honest. By all reports it sounds like Ottawa has a very good chance at re-signing Stone and Duchene.
