Description

Point should sign for minimum $8.1M otherwise a few teams would jump at the offer sheet cost (1, 2, 3 picks) which means 2019 resigning Sergachev and Vasilevsky is that much harder with only Callahan coming off the books.

Cally will be a salary cap casualty. The following year two or three players will be moved. Killorn for another year and stammer have ntc.

Yes, technically for Killorn has : CLAUSE DETAILS: Modified NTC: Starting 2020-21, Submits a list of 16 teams he can be traded to

Stamkos would need to agree to waive.

Julien Brisebois need to trade Callahan, Killorn & Johnson. Maybe he can trade Johnson for a young RD with is 3 years level contract. Ex : Drouin for Sergachev

TBL is ripe for a lopsided trade when they match offer sheets and have to trade away salary for half of market price because all of their players have NTCs or NMCs

Cost for point would be 4 1st rounds. No way Tampa doesn’t match that. Would probably need a 7yr x 11m to actually pry point free. Maybe a chance of 9m -10m if they decide they are better off with 4 first round picks.

If Lighting can't sign their NTC guys....and no reason to think they can trade, them Gourde is a logical trade candidate as his NTC doesn't start till July 1. Sure Tampa doesn't want to do it, but he can generate a good return. Tampa sure looks they have to spend more money on an experienced Man.

Either Point goes for 4 1sts .. OR more likely scenario.. stankos is moved in 2020 .. cap manageable but need to make some moves NOW

Stamkos being traded? .. maybe but not this year .. is possibility but only IF he wanted to help a Canadian based team win the Cup .. in 2 years, Tampa wins the Cup then this scenario could happen .. if Tampa doesn't win Cup in 2 years I could REALLY see this happening.

I assume that Callahan will be moved over the summer. Some team will take on his salary for a year if Tampa offers a couple picks. They could even do it at the draft and sign Point before July 1st, which means no chance of an offer sheet. Also Steve Yzerman is gone, lol
