No way are the Canucks doing that. We are not trading a potential prime Kesler in Gaudette, and a generational defenceman in Quinn Hughes. We're in no rush to rebuild quickly and we are looking to add more picks not give away them. Tanev is a rare shut down RHD and Goldobin is showing a lot of potential this yr. Too much of an overpayment from the Canucks. Max I can do is Gaudette + Juolevi + 2020 2nd for Seguin + 2020 4th and i still think it is an overpayment. I know Seguin is a great player but he doesn't fit into our system

This trade is so bad I literally cant even.. Way too much of an overpayment. I wouldnt mind getting Benn, but definitely not Seguin and not at that price.

Teams don't get much better trading equal value for equal value. Instead of spending 9,85m on Seguin (his new contract) spend it on UFA(s) and keep your young assets.
