Not Sandin tho. Leafs stated he is untouchable. They would move for Pietro possibly. Parayko is untouchable by STL imo. Its their future and possibly even current no1 defenceman..

I’d trade Sandin and co for Parayko in a heartbeat. This is nit my idea though, this is what I’ve heard from a few leafs fans

Trade him and see how he becomes better than Parayko on other team.. Sandin is top-4 D in 2 years and to compare him.. guy like Duncan Keith is comparison. Shows why other fanbases call Leafs fans stupid when they post trade ideas like this. Nothing against you. Its not your idea this trade. But for those people who proposed this.. it wont happen. Would I want Parayko? SURE! Heck yes I would but not if it costs Sandin. Liljegren? Fine.. Sandin is great two way defenceman with a lot of defensive and offensive upside.. Liljegren is offensively great but I would rather trade him as he is more replaceble.

St Louis says no. To get an elite piece you have to give one up, Lwafa aren't giving one up in this trade, no matter how much fans think Sandin is a future Norris winner

I would trade Kapanen, Zaitsev, prospect and 2nd for Pietrangelo. He is great D man and Babcock loves him.

Well, your large group of leafs fans are a large group of idiots.

Blues do not even discuss that kind of foundation for a Parayko trade

IMO...Dubas saying Kapanen and Sandin aren't available served only one purpose...to let other GM's know they will be expensive to include in a deal.

If Sandin turns into anything close to Parayko I think that's an absolute best case scenario...but far from being a probability. I'll always take a known quantity in Parayko over a lottery ticket...25yr old RHD that can step right into 1st pairing? That's worth Sandin, Kapanen and the 1st without hesitation for me.

Blues have no motivation to move a top pairing RHD who is 25 y/o on a reasonable contract. They'll move Petro probably.
