Four Tampa players just waive their NTCs so they can avoid playing for a superior team in Florida for years and they can avoid playing on a possible Cup winner.

For Tampa to acquire Tarasenko, Point and Foote would have to be part of the package. I don't think Y would consider that.

You mean it would be Tarasenko+ for Point.

Yeah Callahan, Miller, Johnson are not waiving their NMC/NTC for St Louis just so Tampa can acquire Tarasenko. Not happening they're not waiving from a cup contender to St Louis.

No. I don't mean that. It was a well deserved try though.

OMG. I'm not sure if you are trying to be serious or are heavily medicated. At this moment in time, tell me who has the most goals in the last three-plus years......? The answer is Ovechkin. Number two...? Vladimir Tarasenko. Facts my friend, not subjective opinions are what matter. Now, will Point become a better player? Score more goals? Perhaps and perhaps. The proposed trade was for now, not what might be in the future. The fact is, no, Point does not have the statistics to warrant an opinion that he is better than Tarasenko right now.

this is too stupid to argue but here we go.

tara has 98 points in the last 128 games
50 goals 48 assist

point has 131 points in the last 131 games
62 goals 69 assists

long story short he has 12 more goals and 33 more points in 3 more games the last season and a half.....hes also 5 years younger and only improving and tara seems to be trending down

hopefully this helps you so you don't look so silly in the future

Yzerman is not the GM of Tampa anymore. I'm assuming you refer with Y to him.

Furthermore, that would be a big time overpayment from Bolts.

But Tarasenko is older and therefore is a better guy to have in the locker room ?

"who has the most goals the last 3 plus years" seems irrelevant when point has only played less than 3 seasons but solid flex? yeah every team wants to get older and have that locker room guy
