Lol, that does not even begin to touch Point or Montour.

    Point is going nowhere anyways.

The expansion draft is not til 2021 so Ducks don’t have to worry about that.

Tampa's salary problems aren't solved by removing one of their best players. That's an extremely unimpressive return for a 23 yr old kid on pace for over 100 points. Think about it. You're okay with giving him $9m dollars but you think Tampa would be ok letting him go for essentially nothing?

I wanted to try and do something without Mittelstadt... Two cap friendly NHL depth D, A first, a second, and entry level forwards for next season seemed like a decent package I thought. Knowing that Oglevie isn't necessarily guaranteed to make a roster, but still.

You’re not getting Wilde for Scandella. He’s a legit prospect

Sheary+4th is nowhere close to Montour, And yeah not close for point either. Both Tampa and Anaheim laugh at those offers.

You won’t need Mittestadt if point is a 2C, so don’t worry about adding him.

Anaheim trade is terrible. If Anaheim can’t protect Nontour then they will trade him to some team for picks or ELC players that don’t need protection, not a middle six forward who they couldn’t protect either because they have to protect Rakell, Kase, Steel, Terry, Comtois, Jones, and more.
