Gardiner getting a first rounder is a good joke, followed up by the kings moving two seconds, likely in the top five of that round, for a first that’s likely to be in the bottom five

Selling our depth.. great idea. Gardiner is internal rental, he wont be moved.. Zaitsev is only RHD that can play 20+ minutes each and every night. Pysyk cant and Jensen can. You need at least 2.. keep Z and trade him in offseason if you will.. and why not just trade Brown for D?

A late 1st for Gardiner is a joke? Man, way worse has been done int he NHL..... Im no Leafs fan but Gardiner fetches a late 1st as a rental, easily.

I would gladly, if i was a team that needed a LHD this year with his skill set and was all in on going for the cup.

At this point, Jake Gardiner for Tyler Myers is all Leaf fans could ask for. A solid right-handed defender, he will add some stability. We can deal with the rest (Zaitsev?) in the offseason.

Don't worry this guy has been on every Leafs post saying the same thing about Gardiner. Realistically, the Leafs aren't going to trade him but there's no way a late first in an over payment.

Not off the top of my head, I still don’t think that warrants a first round pick though. 2nd and a mid level prospect seems reasonable
