Saad at $6M is a bad contract. That same deal with 50% retained on Saad. Maybe even pull out Addison.

Yea, this is just incorrect. Saad is a top 6 defensive power forward that’s on pace to score 50 points. We don’t want Maatta, and we definitely don’t want Gudbranson. Gonna take Rust + Addison to get Saad.

Blackhawks pass very hard on that deal. Murphy is a cost controlled 3/4D and Saad is a top 6 winger who works on the PP and the PK. Gudbranson is garbage, Maata is a nice touch, but Addison doesn't really help our window. Especially with Boq/Jok/Beaudin/Mitchell in our pipeline.

If you want a more realistic trade, it would be Maatta + for Saad, and I don't know that that helps either team.

Yea, that just incorrect. Saad o's so hood that his is constantly being traded out of Chicago by fans, without it being media driven. Even if it is only subconscious, Chicago fans know that Saad at $6M is horrible.

Trocheck for his price is way too valuable. He has 1C skill and is the engine that runs that team.
