No, and it wouldn't be worth it if he was long term as well. Gardiner is a glorified offensive defenseman with no defense. Our defense is 2-way which at the end of the day is better for us because Binnington is getting some absolutely fantastic defense in front of him. Which is good, at this point I wouldn't make any moves. TDL is beyond us and as I said a few times I don't think we will be making any moves. If Blues are going to win the Stanley Cup what needs to happen is we need to ride Binnington, our defense needs to keep up the good work, and our Offense needs to be firing on all cylinders. If we do anything in the offseason it's getting rid of a few unneeded contracts, and maybe getting extra pieces for our offense/defense.
