Nylander looks like a bust and I don’t like Ristolainen. I think pens would want first + Middlestat

I don't think they'll trade Malkin. It would cost too much for us, we would lose all our assets again.

I don’t think pens will trade him. Crosby, Malkin, letang, Guzental, Murray, Dumo, are all untouchable imo.

Good. Why drop 3 big names from the Sabres for 2 good years from Malkin that will be wasted baecause the Sabres would have half a roster again.

mittelstadt is the only truly valuable peice your giving up...he had a rough year compared to a bunch of other rookies but still has potential to be a #2C

nylander is not a botterill pick and has been a bust based off his draft position so far.—he is not a bottom 6 fwd and if the sabres plan on going into the season w him as a top 6 fwd then its gunna be another rough year.

Ristolainen is not very good

the 1st rounder is a late pick and is expendable im okay with trading it if it means we improve the roster for the present and have a chance at ending the playoff drought before it breaks the Bills record...lets not waste Dahlins ELC years like we did Eichels

this is evgeni malkin were talking about here

Nylanders a bust because hes 20 and needed a little time to develop? Hes made a ton of strides with his game, especially under Taylor, and when he was up in the NHL thats the best he has looked yet. This fan base is so weak, its sad. Something doesnt go our way immediately we need to throw it out, burn it down, and start over. It makes 0 sense to bail on a developing prospect because he wasnt an instant NHLer you thought hed be just because he was picked #8. Nobody picked after him has developed any faster than he has. Not even the often heralded Sergachev, whos is still very poor in his own end, hes just insulated by a dominant team.

Are you serious?!?!?

Alex DeBrincat
Jesper Bratt
Charlie McAvoy
Jacob Chychrun
Sam Girard
Tyson Jost

and theres more

not saying Nylander still cant develop into a good player but at this very moment hes has not proved he can be an established top 6 forward....many if not all hockey analysts would agree he has been a bust up to this point in time

your stupid for thinking that trading for Evgeni F*ckin Malkin consists of “giving up” on him...idc if Malkin is 32 hes better now at 32 than Alex Nylander ever will be and id bet my life savings on that.

Malkin would easily be the best player to wear a Sabres uniform since Hasek but i guess packaging in a winger who has yet to solidify a roster spot on one of the most offensively handicapped teams in the NHL the past 3 seasons is a dealbreaker...

As I said before, Yeah he had a great career. He may have a few years left. But the Sabres are not a Malkin away from contending, so they will waste Malkins last good years and give up 3 young contributors that will keep the Pittsburgh machine running. Congratulations you just became Pittsburghs farm team
