Over payment for Rackell and why did you just give away Kerfoot for nothing when he has been such a good player for the Avs. Dont understand that move at all

Y'all are under-rating Rakell; he might well be our 3rd best forward, if acquired.

As for Kerf, it's because I don't want to be the team that pays him what he can get with those #s. Kerf is a passable 2nd liner on a rebuilding team like Parenteau, Gagner & Spooner before him, but he just doesn't do anything well enough to have a spot on a good team unless he's the worst guy in your top 6 and the other 5 guys are all stars because his shot is such a muffin, he's so useless in board battles, and he's a liability defensively. Yes he can carry the puck out of the zone and he's a capable passer, but he's simply not a 4M dollar player on a team that's trying to win.

So if we could turn him into a couple top 100 picks and stick someone else with that contract, we should jump on the opportunity.

Kerfoot is the Avs best defensive forward. Google search Kerfoot Selke and do some research before blindly calling him a defensive liability.

I didn't realize that people were still parroting that nonsense tears of joy

I'm not one to appeal to authority, but his usage really betrays that lie. Don't assume you're more informed than folks that don't share your opinion wink

How does our best defensive forward have the worst plus minus during the season?

+- is a terrible stat, even if Kerf clearly is not a good defender.
