every Leafs AGM is underrating Brett Pesce

and overrating Kapenen like crazy.. Petr Prucha put up 30 goals and 47 points beside Jagr during his first full year in the NHL. He would only have one more season where he hit 40 (his second season alongside Jagr) and his next highest was 22.
Kapenen playing with the likes of Matthews, Nylander, Marner, Tavares, etc. should have put up more points.

to be fair to Kapanen though, he never played with Marner or Tavares, he was with Kadri to start the year when he was hot then got cold and was playing with Matthews. he's still a speedy 23 year old who was a first round pick, he has all the skills, he just got cold down the stretch in his first full season in the NHL

Colin Miller seems to be the latest preferred acquisition du jour for the Maple Leafs. I don't quite understand why -- (1) he's not that much cheaper than Zaitsev, (2) he's not that much of an improvement on Zaitsev, and (3) without him, the right side of Las Vegas' defense looks like the right side of ours or the left side of Montreals, or both sides of Edmonton's.

Not "every." Just half. Many of us have raised our evaluations of Pesce after having seen his performance in the first 11 games.

Brett Pesce's value is more then Kapanen's, You're at least $2 million under on Marner. And Kapanen will receive OS around $4 million if not slightly more.

What exactly is Pesce?

He’s a solid Top 4 defensive D man. Doesn’t have any offense. Doesn’t lay out guys. Can’t play pp. doesn’t have a big shot. He’s overrated by most people on here’s standard of him imo.
