Maybe more than a draft pick but they can’t take salary back.

I am thinking a 2020 2nd. Certainly not more. Not sure Miller fetches more than that given Vegas' issues.

You're gonna regret trading Johnsson if Hyman's injury is serious . . .

Really like the Anderson/Jenner deal, and it takes the risk out of losing Johnsson to an offer sheet!
I agree with the Miller deal too, alleviate the Zaitsev contract, throw in Brown to make them want it.
Think we can get Kapanen that cheap though?? I think he's gotta get 3+

Vegas has much worse cap issues than Toronto!!! They are not taking cap.

I think the fact that they have cap issues gets the guy on the block. The fact that a team would be willing to take no cap back might get a small premium. You will need to pay the price for the player. Other teams will be kicking tires.

Columbus declines. We like our players to not get suspended in the playoffs. Also Jenner isn’t as far from Kadri as you make it seem. And the cap hit that Jenner has and that fact that he’s regarded as a clean player who doesn’t have a history of cheap shots.

When did Johnsson turn into a power forward?

To our colleagues who haven't been paying attention: Las Vegas will have to move Haula and Eakin or the equivalent, and the right side of their defense for next year looks worse than ours.

And I thought Kadri was bad for cheap shots... you’re getting quite a few in there yourself...

Agreed about the cbj trade. I think in the long run cbj wins that trade but I think you hold on to Anderson in case he’s got a bit more to show.

Sorry. Don’t get me wrong when Kadri is on the ice he’s a good player, he just needs to be on the ice. I think both Jenner and Anderson have more to show. Jenner was great vs Boston in the last 3 games and he’s also highly regarded as a leader in the dressing room. I doubt Jenner gets traded unless he asks to be.

I agree, but you gotta think they'll trade someone right? So many highly paid wingers, 1st round exit, gotta shed some money to improve next year.
