What it would take for the devils to get Quinn Hughes Dont kill me

Description

I’ve seen a lot of chatter on twitter relating to how the canucks can get jack or how the devils can get Quinn but I didn’t really seem to think any of them were to realistic, so here’s my own proposal. Vancouver will be getting back a great defensive prospect of their own in Ty Smith who recently won WHL player of the year. They will also be adding Boqvist who was one of the SHLs very best youngsters posting around 30 pts in 50 games as a 19 year old. Devils will also add both of the bruins and predators 2nd round picks while also adding their own 2020 1st which could potentially be a high pick. Thoughts devils, canucks fans?

Interesting proposal. Obviously Vancouver is never going to move Hughes.. but it’s not a terrible offer. I think NJ would have to include Welsh as a prospect and take on Eriksson or Beagle as cap dumps. Also 2020 would have to be unprotected.. but again that’s just me ?

Always fun to mess around with this stuff lol even if there is a negative percent chance of it happening?. I was thinking of adding eriksson to the trade but instead I just added another second. I also thought of adding Walsh. But idk maybe it’s just bias to the devils prospects but I think smith holds a bit more value than most think so I thought this was enough or close enough.

'Nucks ain't winning any time soon. Even though Hughes looks promising, this would be a pretty good coup for a rebuilding team. Ty Smith is no slouch.

That’s a bit to much for my liking I would think Vancouver would have to add Quinn+ to get Hischier

Some trades are just impossible even if its an overpayment. The only way for it to happens is if the top prospect pulls off a "Eric Lindros d*** move"
