Vancouver decline and laugh, Virtanen is not being included involving a trade for Lucic. Virtanen scored 15 goals playing with Sutter and Beagle why would they even consider moving him. He has potential to hit 20-25 goals next season.

Brown's not worth a 2nd rounder. Give them NYI's 3rd at most.

Fair enough, didn't realize he had 15 goals this season. What about if we swap the 3rd round pick for Kailer Yamamoto?

I think a Lucic for Eriksson 1 for 1 deal happens at the draft or maybe Lucic salary retained and a mid round draft pick for Sutter happens.

Settle down on Virtanen! Guy hasn't topped 25 points in a season yet. Anyone in the NHL has the potential to hit 20 goals, just look at Cizikis.

He missed 10 games, scored 15 playing with Beagle and Sutter without any powerplay time, Yeah I think he is more than capable of hitting 20 goals easy. He might not ever live up to his draft position but he is still a valuable player to have on your roster.

So what, he likely won't get powerplay time again next year because he is a borderline 3rd liner.

Ottawa trade is crap. They will take on Manning's contract but you have to add a sweetener (not an upgrade from a 6th to 7th). Manning has negative value with that contract..........insert omment on how ottawa will want his contract to hit cap floor.........

Next season he will be on the powerplay. He should hit 20-25 goals and also provide the physicality.

so if Virtanen is considered to be solid or have major value at 25 points in 70 games? would that mean travis boyd would have a similar or maybe higher value bc he scored 20 points in 53 games....playing with Nic dowd and Stephenson?

I'll start with a nitpick. Ty Rattie should just be let go and find a new career. You'll never get a 4th rd pick for him.

Like the forward signings.

Why not let Starett be the backup?? Save a mil+ for more wingers. Re-sign Chiasson??

Bury Brodziak. He is a waste of a jersey.I

Van trade is sketchy. They'd want more than a straight up Eriksson for Lucic. Lucic is the worse player, worse contract, more years, and not much help anywhere.

I'll get rid of the Rattie trade. I don't know if I'd be comfortable with Starett being the backup yet, he's only had 1 season in the AHL on a stacked team. Dont' want to jump the gun and have a Garret Spark situation. I'd rather he continue to develop, and call him up when injuries happen. I don't really want to pay Chiasson the 2 million he'll be asking for tbh, but I do like him

changed it so its Benning and a 3rd for Brown and a 4th
