Why should Florida trade 3 years of a good Trochek for one year of a good (and more expensive) Trouba?

I'm going to assume you don't know who Roope Hintz is. Because there's no way Dallas accepts that. Florida would consider that if Trouba signs an extenxsion

If the Florida deal is on the table, I would expect Winnipeg accepts. Maybe swap the picks and have no retention on pysyk. Then the Jets Trade Perreault to make room

Jet fans are delusional if they honestly think that we get a bundle for Trouba, There's no way Trouba does a sign and trade. He's heading to free agency rather they accept it or not. Florida can sign Trouba for free in 2020 just like any other team.

So its delusional to think some GM will trade a decent package to get a head start on negotiating with him? Teams trade good bundles at the TDL every year for rentals, it's not a stretch to think some team will do the same for Trouba if they want to sign him.
