Colorado wouldn't do that. Carter has negative trade value right now with his cap hit and recent play. Quick isn't worth downgrading from #4 to #22.

Same with Toffoli. He's a quality player, but he's not worth the #8 overall pick.

Oilers decline, not worth an 8th overall pick, we should get at least a 20 or 30 goal scorer with that pic in the draft

Toffoli has been on the decline for a few years. No way the Oilers trade 8th overall for a one year of Toffoli. Avs can spend 11m a lot better than on Carter and Quick. And you expect that to give up # 4 overall too?

Colorado has a window to win so I threw out two playoff performers that could turn a series or two. Far fetched yes but not improbable. The oilers trade is far more pie in the sky. But maybe a new GM throws caution to the wind and brings in cup winner to add some spice. Maybe he overpays for that spice. Fantasy camp fellows.

I'll add my voice to the chorus of those who think you're overly optimistic. Quick and the #22 MIGHT be able to fetch Edmonton's pick (particularly if you added a winger prospect like Matt Luff or a defense prospect like Sean Walker), but never Colorado's #4 position.

Quick is injured all the time, Oilers are in cap hell and cant afford to spend 11 million on 2 goalies with no wingers, Quick has a brutal contract

Kings would have to take back Koskinen on any trade that included Quick.

The remnants after the Chicago pick. So either Bowen or Turcotte then I like Cozens.
