What kind of raise is Pionk looking at? I'm definitely intrigued (although Horton isn't an issue, and we don't gain anything by dealing him)

Probably a two year deal somewhere between 2 and 3 mil, EvolvingWild says 3.2 but that seems absurd (he's not great)

In my books something like 3 x 3,5-4M as his first tryout contract after ELC.

I'd have zero issue signing him to a longer term 4/5 year deal around 3-3.5? I think although with question marks defensively, he could really flourish alongside a guy like Muzzin. Maybe a 1/2 year bridge to get past the Marleau deal makes more sense though. Am I off base at all?

that'd be pretty good. he played with Marc freaking Staal so maybe that could help him a ton. contract details are fair. Pionk would be a good fit in Toronto.

Well I saw a Oiler fan say he wants stroke back on another post and the Blackhawks were a player for vesey back in 2016-2017 when he made his decision.
