Kadris value is a lateish first. Trouba is far more valuable especially with an extension worked out. . Enjoy your coffee

On ice, Trouba has more value than Kadir. But when considering term....Kadri for three years, and it looks like just one year of Trouba for Winnipeg. Unless the Jets can somehow arrange the rarely accomplished "sign and trade", Trouba's on ice value is higher than trade value. Kadri for Trouba might be just about right.

Leafs fans alert - if you want Pesce the return can not include Zaitsev. I don’t see a universe that zaitsev ($4.5Mx5), a big question mark and risk, for Pesce ($4Mx5), not a question mark, is worth taking. The carrot is Kapanen (RFA out of ELC) + late 1st (forgetting the 3rd sent back). This isn’t good asset management.

Hayes is a UFA in a few weeks - completely different situation than Trouba.

Before being putting into the 3rd line center role he put up back to back 30 goal seasons. He is without a doubt at least a second line center. You're delusional if you think otherwise. Plenty of fans are willing to give up 4 1st rounders by offer sheeting Marner. So yes, I guess you could say a 1st line center is worth 3 1st rounders. Also, the whole "typical Leafs fan" thing you keep repeating, what does that do for you?

Yeah Kadri doesn’t get you Trouba.

Frost and 11oa is too much for me to give up based on Frosts post draft progression.


Seems you think Kadri is more valuable than or equal to 11oa and Frost. If that’s the case we’re never going to see eye to eye.
