Well, he is a train wreck in his own end. I am not saying that this value is fair (it's not, and that's before adding into account that the leagues GMs value defensemen more then middle 6 forwards). I do think people tend to undervalue Shaw, and he's the type of player flyers fans tend to fall in love with. I know someone is going to say that Flyer fans like winning, but they haven't done much of it (think 1975), and with a glut of defensemen, moving one for a top 6 forward is a good idea. Ghost will NEVER get a top line player or all-star in return. He WILL get a good return, but Flyer fans should recognize that it won't be what they dream about. They have a good team, and Fletcher has to play it right to get them over the hump.
