My guess is that Canucks fans would prefer Stetcher, but that is just a guess. From Toronto and Carolina's perspective I can see how they would value the players they get maybe more than other teams due to their deficiencies at those positions.

I like this idea but I think the Leafs would prefer a better dman than Dougie Hamilton if they are trading Kapanen.

Seems like the Canucks are in on Zaitsev. The framework is there, and zaitsev is cost controlled for long term, Stecher is not.
