I heard Tor was talking to NSH about Subban. Would be nice but we are in cap hell as it is. Taking on 9m is scary

It’s plausible Marleau would waive to go to Nashville to contend, but I highly doubt he’d waive again to go to Anaheim.

Marleau isn’t going anywhere that isn’t going to buy him out so he can return to SJ on the cheap.

You would have to give the 2nd for someone to take that awful contract.

Does this means the Bruins could get a 2nd for Backes. He has less term and had the same amount of goals and 3 less assists.

I am not saying I am against a trade but not sure another big contract is a good idea for 3 years. Granted PK is up when we need to resign Morgan. Marleau is a bigger hit then Zitsev so would be the ideal to go.

You wold have to swap the picks for the Sabres to take on Turris' contract:

Turris + 2nd for the Sabres 5th.

If we knew Duchene was signing id probably do that. Id look at like Turris+2nd for Duchene+5th
