The only way VAN takes Seabrook's contract is if Eriksson is coming back to the Hawks.

Or if a top prospect such as Jokiharju or Boqvist is included. That might make it tempting enough.

Tbh I don't see Seabrook waiving his NMC.

Higher chance Seabrook waives for Seattle then VAN trading for him. If 3 to 10 in the draft couldn't move him, it will cost a boat load

I would do it by the way . Hawks are dealing from a position of depth on defence , a year or two from now half of hawks defence will be on elc contracts . Erickson is still a strong two way player who is overpaid for what he produces same as SEABS , Erickson gives us depth on the wing .
