That Tampa trade scandella for Callahan makes little sense. Actually, it makes zero sense. Callahan’s career is over. LTIR

You have to give up something of real value. The NHL 19 approach of adding more and more junk until the trade becomes 'even' isn't realistic at all.

Look into Minnesota's needs. Do they need help at a specific position? Is the cap a serious concern for them? Are they in a win now mode or are they trying to bolster their pipeline? From there, you can go into your own roster and see what pieces could be of interest to them. And try to judge the talent of your own guys fairly, even though it is easy to inflate the players from your own team.

And here's what the Minnesota guys I respect tell me they want: (1) right-handed forwards, and (2) potential replacements for their aging centers (Koivu and Staal). [Carolina is similar -- have you noticed that Martin Necas is their only right-handed forward aside from Justin retirement-cusp Williams?] Work from that perspective. Anything else is likely to be of little interest to them.
