You know, there are fan promotion possibilities rampant here . . . what if trades had to be announced identifying only the teams 24 hours in advance, and then the players, draft picks and other terms 24 hours later? Imagine the interest that would create.

Really only works for the offseason. If you're trying to better your team during the season, that 24 hour window is usually spent having the player ship out to his new home. By then, he's likely already working with team staff and maybe even practicing. Cool on paper, I just don't see a need to implement it

These old boys club tards are some of the dumbest people on the planet. Even if Neal is slightly more expensive in the long run, TRELIVING YOU ARE AN IDIOT FOR THINKING THIS MAKES SENSE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.

I'd rather have Neal than Lucic. The reports are that Edmonton is adding a conditional pick. I think they'd have to add something. Lucic's contract is a little bit bigger (not much) and Neal is a better player IMO. He had 1 really bad year for him, but maybe he can bounce back. The cap hits are pretty similar but i think Neal is a bit better a player.
