All the best rebuilds heavily rely on signing 2 UFAs

As far as I am aware, the Ducks are not currently in a rebuild. They have a number of aging, but very good players on their team that could net them some good returns. So, that basically would start, or signal a "rebuild". No quality UFA in their right mind would sign long-term to a name that should be tanking for the next few years, and I am sure Kreider (who will get more money then what you've set) and Faulk will get just as good an offer from good, playoff-ready, teams.

Comptois could play the same spot (LW #1-2). Guys like Steel lundestrom and Zegras should have a place in the lineup in 2020-2021

The Ducks are in a rebuild. GMBM came out and said that. This team will only be bad for the next two years at most. They have a solid young group of forwards that is on the up and coming. In 3 year this team will be a top the division again.

I have never seen or read anything specifically coming from Bob Murray that indicated this was going to be a slow and hard rebuild. If that was, or is, the case, I expect Getzlaf and probably Rakell and Lindholm gone at some point this season.

Bob Murray said after he fired RC that these next 2 years are going to be rebuilding years. They are letting the kids play and see what they can do this year and go from there.
Why would Lindholm and Rakell be gone? They are part of the new core that is coming up. Getzlaf controls his destiny. If he wants outs Murray would trade him to a team that he would prefer to go to. The idea is to keep getzlaf and have him mentor the younger kids.

Like I said, I don't recall reading that anywhere, but see what you are writing, the "2 years" conflict with the "rebuilding years". It's a slow process. So either your GM doesn't understand how to rebuild properly, or it's more of a retooling than an actual rebuild. If this team is truly in a rebuild, then I don't see them signing any big UFAs until they on the back-end of the rebuilding timeline.

As with any rebuild, it's important to turn your older players into young assets, while also finishing as low as possible in the standings. So being mediocre just won't cut it and by the looks of things, this team, without your UFA signings, will not be as bad as at least 5-7 other teams in this league this coming season. So, do they trade some older assets and get some young players to develop plus 1st round draft picks to assist in this long-term process, or do they stay as-is?

To me, true rebuilds involve tearing the team down by trading away vets, accumulating a lot of assets then plugging your nose and diving into a couple years of pain. That's Murray re-signed Henrique and Silfverberg to long-term deals and the only vet to he straight up cut loose was Perry and that was mostly to end an awkward situation. Even the Cogliano move was a hockey trade. If anything we just need a new word to describe a team deciding to roll with a crop of younger players and not go after vets for one offseason because that's where we're at. It's a transition phase for a team that knows slapping a bunch of free agent band-aides won't help this team enough to justify the long-term damage that that would do.

So to answer your last question, stay as-is. 100% If we hit injuries again this team will suck again but if we're healthy this should be a fairly fun team to watch. Not a contender but that takes time. Fortunately we are a good bit of the way there with some our young forwards and world-class goalie on a great deal.

1. Rickard Rakell and Ondrej Kase have really productive years.
2. Sam Steel scores 41 points.
3. Maxime Comtois pots 21 goals.
4. The Cam-Fowler-playing-RD experiment pans out.
5. Young players like Kiefer Sherwood, Devin Shore, Daniel Sprong, and Troy Terry chip in.
6. Anaheim makes the playoffs.

Rebuild, schmrebuild.
