Sabres decline. Can't sacrifice reino because of zero quality depth at rw currently.

Edit: also the difference between Montour and McAvoy isn't worth reino and a second

The difference between McAvoy and Montour MIGHT be just a 2nd, maybe a 3rd.

I do. I think it works for both sides. Subban did the same thing and banked.
Bruins cap issues are heavily alleviated in two years when Rask, Backes, and Krejci are off books (20m+)
Bergeron will have one year left and presumably sign an extension for a little less. McAvoy becomes the Bruins new benchmark salary and face of Franchise & around 9m

Buffalo says no immediately. How good do people think McAvoy is? You're getting a slightly worse (if McAvoy is a 10/10, Montour is at worst an 8.5) but still 1st line RD and a 2nd round pick; which is about fair. PLUS, you get a young 60+ point winger on top of that. And Buffalo is already struggling for offence so trading Reinhart would be moronic.
