Signing Brock is a given.

Offer Connor is also something that would not really hurt the team. Yes keeping those draft picks are nice but this team would look like a good playoff team so I am not worried.

Trade project for a project and bring in Poolparty.

Big Dallas Trade take a few larger contracts for Baer and Eriksson.

Same cap hit Ottawa Trade Sutter for Gabs.

These moves do a few things. Clears up cap space for Canucks moving players to LTIR. Gives the ability for players to still earn spots. Adds veteran presence from Dallas guys in the bottom 6 roles. All these deals are Canucks friendly as the players brought in have contracts that expire in 2 years when the big payout is due to Petey and Hughes.
