Gallagher's trade value is higher for MTL than other teams in the league. WPG will easily decline this.

IDK if I would want that if I was a Habs fan... There are only so many players like Gallagher in the league. I mean if I could pick a perfect RWer for Sid to be his linemate it would def be Gallagher bc of how he plays.

Players every team dream of. 30 goal back to back under 4 millions. Hardest worker on ice, always in the dirty area. He is a tomas holmstrom 2.0

Point being that despite Gallagher is that good, MTL will never get the haul they'd demand for him. Players like him are very rarely traded.
