Let's be clear here, Kase (RW) has 73 career pts, Ristolainen (RHD) has 4 consecutive 40 pt seasons and Kase is only one year younger than Ristolainen.
Ristolainen was needlessly rushed to the NHL, plays nearly half of the game, has only 46% oz starts, plays a physical game and faces the other teams top lines.
I agree Kase is a two way player and may have the ability to score more than 20 goals next year.
I would never presume to Sheary is equal to Kase, but go to
https://public.tableau.com/profile/christopher.turtoro#!/vizhome/2-yearA3ZPlayerComps/ComparisonDashboard and
https://evolving-hockey.com/ and I think you will be surprised.
I would not make this trade as a Sabre fan. I would not want to lose Sheary and Ristolainen for the small upgrade that Kase would provide, even if the 2nd was the 39th OA.

Lol no, Risto is a number 4 d man that can't actually play defense, and and Kase could easily score 30 goals this year imo... And is better defensively than Risto, and on a steal of a contract... Conclusion, Kase>>>>>>Risto.... You're undervaluing Kase, he's not undervaluing Risto

Ah the classic claim that he can't play defense, you've clearly never watched risto play, only take people word. Kase is very good, but Risto has more value

So, I think Kase is a good player, but he has done nothing in the league to show he has more value then Risto. He is has potential to score 30 but has never he even averaged 30 goals. He has never been healthy enough to play 82 games. Meanwhile, Risot has been healthy, consistently put up big point totals while being paired with below average dman (scandella), and is on good contract.
Also, sheary should get a 3rd round pick himself.
