Not likely this season, and probably not in EDM. what has changed that would make him leave? He needs this season to gain back the confidence that was beaten out of him.

If he has a quality season abroad, I think is trade value will increase and teams will just blame his struggles on Edmonton's terrible development program.

If he doesn't do well this season, then I don't think he'll return to the NHL.

No, he won't be returning to Edmonton, that Laine trade is terrible and even that deal with the Sens is bad
