Additional Details:

COL is the most obvious spot for this to happen IMO.
- Have the Cap space
- Need a proven back-up Goalie
- JJ could fill spot w/ Cole & Johnson not ready to start season

Additional Details:

- Comrie is a Goalie I liked since his draft yr, would be a solid #3 Goalie to push Jarry.
- Appleton is a big solid young player, plus we need depth at RH-wingers

Additional Details:

- WPG could use a RHD-man with all 3 of there starting 3 from last yr gone now.

DeSmith over Jarry.. please GMJR. Can't see WPG taking it; we also do not need another goalie or more defensemen.

Ej is ready to start the season, Cole is ahead of schedule already skating, on pace to be back by mid November. Their backup is francouz unless he gets injured so they are good there. Colorado would have around 4-6 mill after rantanen signs, I assume they want the space in case a player comes available at the deadline that they really want

Colorado is not a cap dump team, they are a contending team, at least this early on in the season

Pens will keep getting GMJR’d with term contracts...enjoy it while it lasts. Gonna be some dark days when Crosby and Malkin move on.

Once Crosby and Malkin are gone nothing will matter anymore. Whatever bad contracts are still there or gained between now and then matter not at all.

Canes were never close to the same situation that the pens are in. That comparison is irrelevant and does not work.

I actually hope so... bc thats usually what we do ....really good for 10-15 yrs then suck for a cpl yrs get the best player in the world and rebuild.
